The Science Communication Conference is on Monday 14 & Tuesday 15 May 2012 at Kings Place , London.

This year's Conference theme is ‘Impact' and sessions will discuss ways to measure the impacts of public engagement as well as a range of topics including volunteering, evaluation, national initiatives, and the business case for public engagement.

How to book

Registration is open 13 February - 27 April 2012.

To book your place please select either a two day ticket if you are coming for both days, or a Monday or Tuesday ticket if you are only attending one day and click Order Now. Please then fill out your details and select your choice of breakout sessions before going to the secure checkout.

You will automatically be sent a confirmation of payment email from Eventbrite. Please keep this as your receipt.

The British Science Association is able to offer concessions to students, the retired and employed, as well as a small number of bursaries. For more information please have a look at our Bursary scheme and Concessions page for details of eligibility and application.

Social events

Science Showoff will take place before the Conference on Sunday 13 May from 19.30 at the Star of Kings pub next to Kings Place. All are welcome and if you would like to perform you can sign up at www.scienceshowoff.org or @ScienceShowoff.

On Monday 14 May from 17.15-20.00 there is a free social event for all delegates attending that day. On Tuesday 15 May from 15.45-16.30 there will be entertainment by comedian and singer-songwriter, Helen Arney as part of the programme.

All events are free.
